Neat, I'm curious what you could do with Z Brush.

pInkmoth responds:

Probably not much interesting - i typically polymodel rather than sculpt

Some helpful tips:

Stop using gradation for shading and hair lighting.

I recommend getting a versatile non vector paint program, Paint tool SAI is a cheep effective art software that lets you craft your own fairly organic brushes.

Positives:

The gesture and perspective are both done pretty decently, the eyes need a bit of work, but overall, the actual shapes/contour of their bodies isn't awful.

Good luck in future works!

Argox66 responds:

Appreciate the feedback. Seeing as I whip these out just in a few hours during slow work days, I doubt I will make many changes to my current software unless I go pay for full Creative Cloud again. Animate CC does provide its challenges one may not encounter with other programs, I will grant you that! LOL. Thanks for the line!

It's simplistic, but still very eye catching,
I like it!

UltimoGames responds:

Sometimes I like to search for the most simple/efficient/effective way of doing things. Thanks!

Geez Boco, the speed at which you post these greatly animated pieces is staggering!

bocodamondo responds:

bocodamondo responds:

heh looks like animating DBM almost everyday pays off ^^

Ya know, if you ever try to make a monga/comic then I recommend using the sketch look that you used for this picture, its very nice!

bocodamondo responds:

huh. well atleast like this its way easier for me to draw quickly

Good job my friend!

bocodamondo responds:

thanks dude ^^
im really proud of this one, espacily the face, its the first time i got adas face perfectly in drawing ^^

A dead man once told me you need to learn to draw before you can be an animator, I took him on his words and have been learning to do just that. Wouldn't say I'm a draftsman yet, but I should probably start practicing the animating part of animation now.
