Love the texture in this piece, what kind of brushes did you use to make this?

Thank you! I will say I drew this with pencil first, then I took a picture of it and colored it on Krita. The brush I used the most was c) Pencil-4 Soft
It's a real shame that people only know Adamson's work through L'il Douchebag, prior to that he had a really distinct style and a more diverse visual story telling method. In fact he has admitted in an interview, ironically in the "Best of L'il Douchebag" compilation, that L'il Douchebag was him selling out as an artist. Accompanied next to this statement was a picture of Adamson on his yacht, the "Big Douchebag", playing chess with his son.
Hey, I'm personally a L'il D Defender, but I get it. It's not terribly high-brow. But what he and his 15 ghostwriters accomplished is nothing short of remarkable imo
You've done something damn near impossible. You have made an anime style that is unique enough that whenever I see one of your pieces out in the wild, I immediately know that you made it, I hope life is treating you well my friend.
means alot ^^
Well, Sonichu had to come from somewhere.
STOP.
That's a phenomenal use of reference, wonder if the guy knows that someone has made a royal portrait of him?
Nope, but I wanna find him and show him this
I'm going to be honest, the €300 ones look better than the €600 ones.
you're allowed to prefer them, the €600 ones are obviously more work to model and rig and animate tho
You are the only person who gets her nose mostly right while still idealizing her.
Most people who draw her forgo most of her prominent facial features in favor of just making generic pretty faces or anime spray painted turnips.
Very nice work!
thanks :D I just like a bit of challenge from time to time, painting lady dimitrescu manga version number: 463635272 would bore me to death xD
Those eyes just stare strait into your very soul!
Yeah... eyes.
That would make a pretty great screen saver!
why thank u !
Now this belongs in a museum!
I don't know if its just me, but it almost looks like the monster is remorseful for what it is about to do.
Thanks! I always try to put some sorrow into the creatures I draw, so it's always nice whenever someone notices :)
A dead man once told me you need to learn to draw before you can be an animator, I took him on his words and have been learning to do just that. Wouldn't say I'm a draftsman yet, but I should probably start practicing the animating part of animation now.
